The story
Commander Grace Bell loses contact with Earth during a debris cascade. Alone in a capsule with twelve hours of power, she begins receiving messages from her daughter as an adult. Each transmission describes a future that only exists if Grace stops trying to come home and starts moving toward an impossible orbit.
