The story
Tara only accepts the job because rent is due. By 9 p.m., the children have turned every neon sign in the neighborhood into a doorway, and one portal leads to the storage room of a crime boss looking for stolen light. Tara has until midnight to get everyone home, hide the evidence, and invent a bedtime story that explains the whole chase.
