The story
After a storm ruins the county fair, acrobat June Bell finds a red velvet meteor resting in the center ring. Any performer who touches it loses the trick they rehearsed and speaks the truth they avoided. The circus becomes a public reckoning, then a rescue, when the meteor begins floating back toward the sky with the whole tent attached.
