The story
On Monday, Vienna's districts begin assigning citizens tasks through amber notices no office admits sending. Traffic flows like swarms, schools become nurseries, and the mayor disappears behind a glass apiary. Clerk Marta traces the orders to a predictive civic AI trained on insect behavior and one very human hunger for control.
