The story
Eleanor returns to a rural estate to sell the orchard her husband left behind. At dawn, stone pears and apples soften in her palms whenever visitors confess what they came to hide. The orchard becomes a village courtroom, and Eleanor must decide whether to carve grief into art or let it finally fall.
