The story
Mireille keeps the accounts for bakeries, florists, and cafés that the banks consider too small to bother with. During a heatwave, the Seine fills with impossible ice made of unpaid invoices. Each sheet bears a storefront, a debt, and a chance to renegotiate before the city melts the evidence.
