The story
An old rocket slide in a suburban park has been repainted many times, and no one remembers who built it. One summer night, it begins to hum and opens a small cockpit beneath the ladder. The children discover a forgotten space program built not for war but for imagination, and must protect it from adults who call every dream dangerous.
