The story
Mikiko returns to her hometown courthouse, where lucky wind chimes hang by every window. During a theft trial, the chimes begin ringing words from the night of an accident decades ago. The judge blames the wind, but Mikiko hears cross-examination in the glass and steel, and the town's summer festival turns into a courtroom.
