The Testament of Waves
Returning to Jeju as a court-appointed lawyer, Haejin listens to testimonies of disappeared divers carried in wax cylinders pushed up by the waves, and brings the sea accidents the village has hidden back to trial.

The story
Haejin cross-references his late grandmother's diving logs with the voices in the cylinders and discovers that the accident dates differ from official records. On a night when a typhoon approaches, he descends into retired divers' pilgrimage routes and underwater caves to find the last cylinder.
